responseAI guides allow you to increase the personalization and quality of your responses by providing details that the AI can't know. you can edit this in the responseAI settings at the bottom of the responseAI settings you can access from the response section in the review details.
With these guides/guidelines you can tell responseAI how to respond to specific topics in your reviews. This means that you can 'teach' responseAI how you want it to answer recurring complaints or praises, such as "small rooms" or "no parking available”. responseAI will detect when a topic from a template is part of a review and will incorporate the information you provide about how to address the specific complaint or praise – without simply repeating your wording.
Adding responseAI guides
- Step1: Enter a description of your complaint or praise (e.g. "no room service available" or "friendly staff") on the left-hand side. Make sure the description is detailed enough for responseAI to know when to use, for example, "vegan breakfast" is not a good description, whereas "no vegan breakfast options" contains all relevant information.
- Step 2: On the right-hand side, add information by telling responseAI how you normally address this topic. Your guideline does not need to be written perfectly, but make sure it includes all important information you would like responseAI to incorporate.
After saving your changes you can go back to your Inbox view and start answering reviews. From now on your responseAI guides will be incorporated naturally, whenever a complaint or praise is detected in a review.
Tips
- The more specific the description of a complaint or praise, the more precise the detections get. E.g. "vegan breakfast" is not a good description since responseAI can’t know from this if your guidelines should be used for positive or negative comments on the vegan breakfast. Better descriptions would be "no vegan breakfast options available" or "very tasty vegan breakfast".
- responseAI will understand variations, for example, if you add "Bad rooms" it will automatically detect "horrible rooms", "ugly rooms" etc.
- The responseAI is smart about when to use a guide – even if the wording in a review is not exactly the same as in your description (e.g. "no breakfast choices if you are vegan" instead of "no vegan breakfast options available"), the AI will still use the guideline you provide.
